Ordering, Shipping & Returns
Ordering
While I was creating this web site, I set up a typical shopping cart and decided to keep it disabled for a couple of reasons. The first is due to the time it takes to properly create a good shopping cart and the second is security. I want buyers to feel secure in their purchases and to make the feature itself very secure. As I continue to work on the shopping cart feature, you can still make purchases by submitting your list of books you wish to purchase to Sales@SellingComics.com. The benefit of this approach, for the time being, is a little more personal and who knows, you may be able to talk me into an extra discount!
I currently accept PayPal, credit cards (Visa, MC and Discover) as well as money orders and cash. Once I confirm the availability of the books you wish to purchase, I will send you a PayPal/Square invoice and you can complete your secure transaction there.
Shipping
I offer affordable shipping and charge slightly below exact costs. I use USPS for shipping though you may request other means if you prefer, rates will be similar. Larger orders will receive better rates, here are the current rates for smaller quantities of books:
Domestic (USA 50 States): 1 ungraded comic - $7, $0.50 for each additional ungraded comic
1 graded comic - $9, $1.50 for each additional graded comic
International Shipping: Please contact me for a quote. As an example, 1 ungraded comic to Canada will be $12, UK will be $14.
Returns
I'm no stranger to receiving comics in the mail that don't live up to the hype. We also have our own thresholds on condition not to mention that mistakes happen. As such, I offer an open return policy and will work with you on the following situations:
Damaged Products: Nothing is more depressing that purchasing a 50 year old high grade comic only to receive it damaged! Believe me, after 40 years of mail orders, I have seen my fair share of this. I ship very securely and rest assured, the more valuable the comic, the more bullet proof the package. Regardless, damage does happen and I will work with you to quickly resolving any shipping damage related issue. If you receive comics that were damaged during shipping, please contact me at Sales@Selling Comics.com and I will help you with this situation.
Undisclosed Restoration: All comics I sell are pre-screened for restoration though I am not infallible. I offer an unlimited return policy for any books that you purchase from me and submit to be graded by a 3rd party grading service. If I did not indicate that the book as restored at the time of sale and they come back indicating that they have been restored, I offer the option to return the book(s) for a full refund of your original purchase price regardless of when the book was purchased. Again, please contact me at Sales@SellingComics.com in this situation.
Lost Items & Other Returns: Mistakes happen, not only with grading but also with shipping. If for any reason you have a concern with your purchase and wish to discuss a return, please contact me within 30 days of your purchase and I will work with you to resolve your issue. In many cases you have the option to simply return the book(s) and I will refund 100% of your purchase price along with return shipping. I like a win-win, so I also offer choices such as partial refunds, future credit as well as a few other options.
